FAQs

How long does the entire application process take?

Full sets usually take 1 to 1.5 hours, half/natural sets normally take 30 minutes to an hour, where as refills takes somewhere around 40 minutes to an hour.

What is the difference between Full Set and Half/Natural Set?

For first timers we recommend getting a full set. The full set is by far more glamorous and they last the longest, versus the half/natural set, which has a more subtle look.

Do you charge based on the number of lashes you use?

We don’t charge our customers based on the number of lashes we use.  Some customers requires more than others but that's based on your personal preference, and the foundation of your natural lashes.

What type of lash do you use?

We use high quality Genuine mink and silk lashes (that cost addition in other stores).  They are the lightest of all synthetic lashes and they are the blackest of black with high gloss.  They are soft, light weight, natural feeling lashes.  Most customers can't feel the difference between lash extensions and thier own natural lashes.  They also come in a variety of thickness, lengths, and curls depending on your preference.

What type of adhesive do you use?

NovaLash’s Platinum Bond adhesive has the strongest hold available for eyelash extensions on the market today.  With NovaLash Platinum Bond Adhesive, your lashes will require less touch-ups than other adhesives provide. Platinum Bond has revolutionized the eyelash extension industry by providing the longest hold time, flexibility, and a dark, lush, lash line for the client.

How long do they last?

Full sets can last up to 4-5 weeks, sometimes they can even last up to 6 weeks depending on the individual, half/natural sets last about 3 to 4 weeks. On average, our customers get refills every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the lashes looking fresh and fuller.  Intervals for refills and however long the extensions last are based on how you care for your lashes, the nature fundation and life cycle of your lashes.

Can mascara be used with lash extensions? 

Mascara is typically not needed with lash extensions. Mascara can be used when a touch-up is drawing near. Water-soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of lashes. Waterproof mascara is not recommended for use, as it will dissolve the bond with the lashes.  Speical Novalash extension mascara can be purchased at our store.

How do you care for them?

Gentley comb your lashes with a disposible mascara wand daily in the morning, after shower or as needed.  Stay away from oil based make up remover.  Maintain the health of your natural lashes with an eyelash conditioner or growth serum. They help the hairs to stay in the follicle longer resulting in stronger support for the extensions.  Long intense exposure under the sun or in the pool can potentially shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

What do I have to do before coming to my appointment? 

Its important for you to come to your appointment with a clean face.  That means no makeup, lotion, or any kind of products.  Your face should be oil free. Keep in mind the appointment usually last a little over an hour.
